Sandhya Bayireddy — Sandy — is an actor based in the DC–Maryland–Virginia area, known for her performances in Telugu films released in theatres and on OTT platforms.
Her work has earned critical acclaim and accolades, fuelling a passion for taking on diverse and versatile roles. Beyond the screen she is an entrepreneur, writer, director and national pageant winner, and as a mentor she continues to inspire families across the DMV with her dedication, passion and drive.
A lifelong performer, Sandy has participated in and choreographed several dance-drama productions, using art, culture, fashion and dance as her mediums to connect with audiences on a deeper level. She gravitates toward roles that are close to her heart, breathing life into characters and stories that resonate with authenticity and emotion.
In 2024 she stepped behind the camera for the first time, writing and directing the suspense thriller Make a Wish, which released in theatres on 13 September 2024.
